ghostbusters3-300x215 Things that we can expect in the upcoming years of HollywoodThree major announcements have been made regarding upcoming movies this week. Firstly, a Ghostbusters 3 script is being written by “The Office” writers/producers (U.S. version): Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. They reportedly have the support of one of the original Ghostbusters Harold Ramis (Egon). With luck we’ll get to see the rest of the original group back together.

Spider-Man 4 It seems that Tobey McGuire and Sam Raimi will return for two more Spider-Man movies (filmed back-to-back). The documents are not yet signed, it is reported (by the Hollywood Reporter) that a deal is not far off. Spider-Man 4 then, is likely to have a release date of 2011. I’ll be honest and say that I have lost faith in Raimi after the disaster that was Spider-Man 3. I can only hope that he has been listening to opinions of the movie and not just the sales figures. Despite it being a pile of overrun garbage (in my opinion), the Box-office receipts were still very high
