Things that we can expect in the upcoming years of Hollywood
Three major announcements have been made regarding upcoming movies this week. Firstly, a Ghostbusters 3 script is being written by “The Office” writers/producers (U.S. version): Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg. They reportedly have the support of one of the original Ghostbusters Harold Ramis (Egon). With luck we’ll get to see the rest of the original group back together.

Inside Man was an incredibly entertaining movie (with the exception of Jodie Foster’s role) and it seems that I’m not the only one to think so. A sequel is in negotiations and with luck we’ll get to see Spike Lee return to the helm once again.
It seems that Tobey McGuire and Sam Raimi will return for two more Spider-Man movies (filmed back-to-back). The documents are not yet signed, it is reported (by the Hollywood Reporter) that a deal is not far off. Spider-Man 4 then, is likely to have a release date of 2011. I’ll be honest and say that I have lost faith in Raimi after the disaster that was Spider-Man 3. I can only hope that he has been listening to opinions of the movie and not just the sales figures. Despite it being a pile of overrun garbage (in my opinion), the Box-office receipts were still very high
