Okay, so you're stuck on an island for the rest of your days. The island happens to have a fairly decent high definition television and a good surround sound system with an integrated DVD player……and a power source (for all you pedantic people).

What two films do you take with you? What two films could you cope with watching over and over again for the rest of your life.

For me, the answer is easy.

I would take two films that make no sense on first viewing and only (I'm told) get better with age. I would probably take 2001: A Space Odyssey (never had the patience to watch it all) and Southland Tales. The latter being a film that (with luck) makes more sense after the 50th viewing.

Cool

(oh and before you ask, the island does not allow pornography films, due to the fact that there are no Mansize tissues anywhere in sight)
