Baz Luhrmann’s new film “Australia” trailer released

  • Romeo and Juliet (a film starring Leonardo di Caprio)
  • Moulin Rouge! (a film starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor)
  • Sunscreen (a “listen to my advice” track from the 90’s)

Well, he is soon to be known once more (or completely forgotten, with his new tale entitled: Australia. The film stars Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman. I’ll be honest, the trailer does nothing for:

  1. the excitement of the film
  2. Nicole Kidman’s acting capabilities

It actually looks like a retelling and re-setting of Far and Away (also starring Nicole Kidman and that strange fellow: Tom Cruise), but I couldn’t be bothered to read the synopsis. I am probably wrong!
