St Trinians Return in 2009 for a sequel
This is not good news. After my unnecessary rant at the fact that Gemma Arterton was considered more of an acting bet than Talulah Riley, this news comes straight from Cannes (via the BBC). A St Trinians sequel is to be made with the original directors returning (Olive Parker and Barnaby Thompson). According to this report, no cast has been secured as yet and we can expect more of the same (very wrong) humour (and the even more wrong, sexualisation of grown women in school uniforms). St. Trinians; The legend of Fritton’s Gold will be in a cinema near you in 2009.
