Another unnecesary sequel: Wargames: The Dead Code
The original Wargames starring Mathew Broderick as a hacker who beats a computer by forcing it to play noughts and crosses (I’m not joking) was actually a good watch…..when I was ten. However, like most IT films they age very quickly and it becomes little more than a joke. Nevertheless it is a good nostalgic watch. Unfortunately, it seems that the idiots over at MGM think that twenty fives years is a good time to release a sequel and so they have.. Take a look at what can only be described as the most predictable dvd box art ever… I want to know who is Matt Lanter and Amanda Walsh? And why are they so important that their name appears above the title? How are they going to link this to the original? I’m going to have to stop now because I’m starting to feel suicidal.
